It’s been a month since we released the MetaRing...

We are still so excited about this project and working hard to continue to bring value to the holders through additional utility. But let’s start from the top: 

Our mission with the MetaRing has always been interoperability. Our goal was not only to provide one of the first truly interoperable NFTs but also to spark conversation. We want people to be talking and thinking about what an interoperable Web3 really means. Where are we now and where do we want to be but also, and perhaps most critically, what are the steps in between? 

Through this NFT project, we want to show possibilities and options, specifically in the gaming and entertainment industries. We are doing this by consistently bringing in new partners with top projects but also expanding existing benefits and organizing unique experiences. The MetaRing team started working hard long before the launch but their jobs didn’t stop when the sale ended. 

When it comes to the sale, it …could have been smoother. But no NFT drops without some issues. For the MetaRing launch, there was some delay in the time it took for users to add funds to their accounts and make the purchase. The community managers stepped up to hold a three-hour-long live show (including one of our community managers singing his rendition of the Rocky theme and a live Q+A) on our Discord to keep buyers entertained during their wait. As the Market is in beta, it was a good test to see where we need to improve and our development team has already made improvements. 

If you missed that epic live show, don’t miss out in the future - our Discord is the lifeblood of our community. Not only can you talk directly to us and the MetaRing team, but we also host AMAs with partners regularly. It is the best way to keep up to date as it’s where we announce new partnerships, ring functionality, and we plan to host more special community campaigns. Venly has built an engaging community that has something for everyone, whether you purchased the MetaRing or not.

Future Plans

As was previously mentioned, we are still working to improve and build upon the MetaRing. Our first focus is, naturally, to deliver the promised perks and benefits to the community. Moving forward, we aim to have a balanced mix of virtual worlds, games, and platforms. We are set on building lasting relationships with our partners in order to ensure the MetaRing holders have a smooth, consistent experience. It’s going to be a continuous project to make sure we are connecting DAOs, crypto and other blockchain projects for an excellent adventure across the metaverse.
