Developer Portal Update: Base Faucet
Good news! The Faucet, built into our Developer Portal can now be used to request test tokens on the BASE testnet. You can request 0.1 ETH tokens on the BASE Sepolia testnet, every 24 hours using wallets created with Venly.
Base is a groundbreaking Ethereum L2 solution, powered by Optimism’s open-source OP Stack. It's designed to be a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective platform for decentralized applications. Base offers seamless Coinbase integrations, straightforward fiat onramps, and ability to serve users in the Coinbase ecosystem, making it an ideal environment for developing onchain dapps. You can request the following test tokens every 24 hours via the faucet in our Developer Portal:
- 0.1 ETH on the BASE Sepolia Testnet chain.
- 0.5 MATIC Tokens on the Amoy Testnet chain.
- 0.5 AVAX Tokens on the Fuji Testnet chain.
Step-by-step instructions
- Go to Venly's Developer Portal and navigate to Faucet.
- Choose whether you want to request BASE, MATIC, or AVALANCHE tokens.
- Enter your wallet address or wallet UUID associated with Venly. This ensures that the tokens are sent to the correct wallet.
- Click on the "Request tokens" button to submit your request.
- Tokens will be sent to your wallet shortly after.
